bless my recliner

there are nights that are blessed
with restful sleep
there are many not
for these I need my recliner

encased in it’s arms
I am secure and can
easily rejoin Morpheus
for the rest of the night

awake the next day
ready to handle
come what may

so for the troubled sleepless
friends …. heed my tale
join the happy sleepers
simply get a recliner

(Please note that I am in no way connected to the furniture or bedding industries.)
