Speaking Novocaine and Aches

The eyes are the serial killers. Go to sleep,
and let some heart-attacks to breath.

When the dreams stare, the glassy bulbs
of Novocaine and aches
you dismember my marshmallow Self,
I quiver like a fern leaf, which had too much to drink.

I was touched by the morning dew,
a global-economy kind of disaster
poised between the ephemeral and the eternal.

With you, the weakness of Gods finds me
the same kind, that roses and rainbows have.

The weakness so mad, I want to build
a house for you, from the mist and wings of fireflies.

Sudeep Adhikari
