Jim Kjeldsen is a historian-journalist who lives in
Bellingham, Washington. His previous books include the nonfiction "The
Mountaineers: A History" (Mountaineers Books, 1998, still in print) and
the forthcoming "The Carnival of Speculation" (WSU Press, due in 2016).
He is a finalist for Best Online Short Story 2015 for "The Giant Gila
Monster," Indiana Voice Journal, June 2015.

M.J. Kjeldsen
writes under the name Marvin Redblood. He is author of the non-fiction
book THE MOUNTAINEERS: A HISTORY and the fiction book A FLASH ON THE
RIVER, as well as numerous novels and short stories. He lives with his
we-wife and dog in Red Wing, Minnesota.
