Call it Love
wherever I can meet you
serpentine roads intrude
like a bluff
I don't like playing hoax
the roads do
I travel them in unmitigated hope
that they do not intervene
in a meeting that surpasses
all fear
but the roads are insular
they cave into pettiness
and catch us red handed
in this petty art of lying
and infinite traveler that
you are
you, finally call the bluff
come let us shake heads
in disbelief, wrapped in this
ghetto called love
by mercenaries who do not
know really, how to.
